    • Samsung Convoy Joins the its Ruggedized PTT Brethren on Verizon
These days, new PTT devices all seem to be coming in ruggedized format, presumably to deal with the stresses of an environ where one might actually use PTT. Which is to say, briefly, when you used it that one time (or tried to) in the livingroom after bringing it home from the store. But rest assured, [...]
    • Verizon to up its ETF to $350 on ‘Advanced Devices’
We aren’t exactly sure what constitutes an “Advanced Device” but this is still a pain no matter which way you color it. Apparently, whenever RIM recognizes that one of its devices might be getting a little out of date it establishes the need to launch said device in white. iContacts for Samsung Omnia, replaces Phonebook

Posted by Brodhe on January 7, 2009

iContacts is a really good contact application for people who aren’t a  big fan of the one that Omnia came with. It emulates the iPhones’ contact list, and does it well. The application is fast & very clean looking- I didn’t come across any errors while testing this one out. I’ve definately unpinned Phonebook and replaced it with iContacts on my menu.

Agh! fantastic, I cannot stand the phonebook on the Omnia, can you tell if it still sync’s well with Outlook. Thanks again.

iContact pulls the contact list from your phone. It doesn’t replace phonebook, but works with it. When you sync your Omnia, phonebook will be updates, and in turn so will iContacts =) Hope it helps! Feel free to leave some extra feedback/review on the program
